What are the F.A.C.E. Awards?

The F.A.C.E. Awards stands for First Achievers in Community Excellence. An award show that honors the LGBTQ+ community each year in Houston, Texas.

Who can be nominated?

Anyone can be nominated in 20 different categories. As long as the person nominated fits into the category.

How does the nomination process work?

The nomination process is based on past winners. Each year those past winners fill out a ballot, and those names make up the nominees.

When are the nominations announced?

The 2017 F.A.C.E. Award nominations will be announced via social media on November 1, 2017.

After Nominations + The Public Votes!

After the nominations are announced, voting starts on this website. The public will be able to vote from November 2 – 8th.

After Voting Ends?

The votes are counted and the winners are sealed into an envelope and not opened until November 16th at the F.A.C.E. Awards on stage.

What are the details for the F.A.C.E. Awards?

The F.A.C.E. Awards are free to the community to attend. You must be 21+ to purchase any alcoholic drink. This year, South Beach will host the event. The red carpet pre-show starts at 7 PM and the award show starts promptly at 8:30PM

The F.A.C.E. Awards are the VMA’s of the LGBTQ+ community in Houston. The dress code is simple. What do you wear to impress?
